Review: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Rating change: from 1 Star, to 5 stars. 😳😳😳
MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE BOOK:
This is my second attempt at this series, but this time it’s via audiobook. Stephen Fry does a marvellous job making the characters interesting to me. This book took me exactly a month to get through; I blame the damn long-ass Quidditch match at the beginning of the book.
I hate sports. I don’t find it entertaining, nor do I find other people spectating it to be entertaining. That scene ran for waaaay too long.
Guys if you seriously need me to talk about the characters, like really. You need to engage yourself more in pop culture………
Also Cedric is great but who really brought this book up to 5 stars was either Hermione (always in response to Ron ❤️❤️❤️) or Hagrid. Both are innocent lil beans with amazing storylines in this book!!
Ps I find Dumbledore to be a lil twat and don’t care for him at all
sorry not sorry.
Yo this was a looooong audiobook, and the first half isn’t really interesting, but when the Tri-Wizard competitions were going on, this was 🔥 L I T F A M 🔥
am I speaking to the youth, yet?
(view spoiler) He was so chill and like “k… and??????? Did u win lol.” (He wasn’t really, you all know that— but they did gloss over it until the end)
Yeah so the final part of this book was great which is why the rating changed dramatically. It’s probably the most entertaining HP instalment IMO without TOO MUCH heavy stuff going on.
Yay this book was a deal breaker for me when I first read it, and now I’m super glad I reread it. That’s all. I’m happy to read the rest of HP now 🙂
